Saudi Arabia sees 31% increase in AI technology registrations, reaching 24,693 in Q3 2026

Overall Growth in AI Registrations
According to the Ministry of Commerce, Saudi Arabia’s active commercial registrations for artificial intelligence technologies rose 31 percent year-on-year by the end of the third quarter of 2026.
The Kingdom recorded 24,693 active AI technology commercial registrations at the close of Q3 2026, which represents an increase of 5,847 compared with the 18,846 registrations logged during the same period in 2025.
Regional Breakdown
The ministry also released the top five regions by number of active AI technology commercial registrations.
Riyadh led with 15,138 registrations, followed by Makkah with 4,804 and the Eastern Province with 2,561.
Madinah came fourth with 826 registrations, while Al-Qassim recorded 365.
