Evacuation Order for Sanaa Facility
According to the Coalition to Support Legitimacy in Yemen, an evacuation warning was issued Tuesday for civilians at the Yemen Petroleum Company’s Al‑Sabaha Central Station in Sanaa ahead of a planned military operation.
Spokesman’s Statement and Map
Coalition spokesman Maj. Gen. Turki Al‑Maliki said civilians should evacuate the facility for their safety and that a map had been released showing the warned area.
Prior Warning and Drone Interception
He added that the warning followed an earlier statement in which he indicated the coalition would shortly issue an evacuation notice for a Sanaa site in preparation for a targeted military operation.
Al‑Maliki also announced that coalition air defences had intercepted and destroyed three drones north of Riyadh.
Context of Rising Tensions
The developments come as Houthi missile and drone attacks on Saudi Arabia have intensified, with deadly strikes recorded at King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh.
